Joshua Gamon’s Abigail & Rox in the Land of Enchantment one-shot hits better comic shops this week. Joshua describes his book as:

Wonderland’s in chaos, Sleepy Hollow’s besieged by giants, and Emerald City is at the mercy of a mad genius. Trapped in a cursed book of fairy tales, Abigail and her teddy bear, Rox, explore a fantasy world at the brink of Armageddon.

Abigail & Rox is planned as a mini-series. So spread the word, generate buzz so we can get out the mini-series.

Fist of Justice is back! Dario Carrasco Jr. is putting together a benefit book and FoJ has the feature story and cover. Dario approached us and Mike [Imboden] immediately jumped on a script to help out. Not only does Fist do what he can, he gets to be drawn by fan-favorite Carrasco Jr. which just couldn’t be passed by.

Keeping in vampire mode… here’s another cover shot from the upcoming BloodRayne: Tokyo Rogue mini-series. This masterpiece is slated to be the retailer incentive for issue #1.

Does this piece show Rayne’s attitude or what?

In Tokyo Rogue, we also bring in a favorite supporting cast member from the second video game; that’s right, Severin makes his first appearance in the comics and plays an important role in this 3-issue story arc.

So keep your eyes peeled when we release Tokyo Rogue in January, March, and April. Look for the Ayano one-shot probably inbetween there. We’re still deciding whether she should show up the same time BR: TR #1 hits or after the mini-series. What do you think?

The original team from the hit Image Comics series is back for the Sword of Dracula relaunch! This November from Digital Webbing Press debuts Sword of Dracula/Vampirella: Extended and Dangerous.

Why the ‘extended’ in the name? A couple years ago, Harris Publishing ran a 10 page Sword/Vampi crossover in Vampirella magazine written by creator Jason Henderson and illustrated by Greg Scott. In this new one-shot, not only are we expanding the story to a full-length 22 pager, it’ll also be, for the first time, in full-glorious color by Joel Sequin.

Basically we blackmailed Greg Scott, who’s been busy on titles like Boom Studio’s X Isle, Enigma Cipher, and Fall of Cthulhu. Die-hard Sword of Dracula fans will remember Greg started the now classic Image Comics run. So, needless to say, there wasn’t too much blackmailing necessary because Greg has been itching to work on more Sword of Dracula.

This “Extended and Dangerous” one-shot will be available in November from Digital Webbing Press and sports a great cover by Eisner Award-Winning artist Tony Harris. Don’t miss it!

Okay, you back? Good. We’ve been watching Jake’s work whenever he posts new samples and I gotta say, the dude knows what he’s doing. So much that we’ve asked if he’d be interested in drawing an issue of BloodRayne. Jake responded by posting this image.

Jake, you’re gonna have a blast with this character, trust me! Folks, look for more details on which issue Jake will stun you with later.

Okay, I just can’t hold out any longer. This cover just kicks ass. Gotta show it off. It’s still going through some minor touch-up (and that’s when I’ll unleash a larger version for you to drool over).

But for now, here’s a 200 pixel wide tease.

Tokyo Rogue (our next mini) was originally conceived as a one-shot. But we’ve been listening to our fans and the general consensus is you want beefier, longer stories. We aim to please which is why Tokyo Rogue was expanded into a 3-issue mini.

Immediately following Red Blood Run is Automaton which works as a stand-alone, but also fills in more backstory and laying of groundwork for the continuation into the Tokyo Rogue mini. Do you see where we’re going? I bet you do. All the minis and one-shot can be read separately, but still give an overall bigger story.
