The Drac Pack is Back!

Longtime visitors to The Comic Fanatic.Com are well aware that I am a huge fan of Jason Henderson’s Sword of Dracula. Henderson’s new spin on the classic Count Dracula has been the most original look at the Lord of the Vampires since Stoker put pen to paper all those years ago. And this is a premise that I would love to see on the spinner racks on a monthly basis. So I eagerly await and take whatever Sword of Dracula goodness that I can get. The latest morsel? Sword of Dracula/Vampirella.

Here’s a promo Team 14 creator Alp Altiner put together.

Look for Team 14 in comic shops in late June. You can reserve a copy with your local comic shop right now or search several online retailers. For example, Discount Comic Book Service has both Team 14 covers for pre-order at $2.79 each. Use the “Publisher” drop-down and select “Digital Webbing”.

MAC just sent me a cover image that rocks pretty hard so issue 2 will ship with two covers, a 50/50 split. We’ll show you a peek at that shortly, but until then, you got this!

Okay, check this out, DiPascale and I were brainstorming some cover ideas and thought it’d be pretty cool to showcase Rayne’s great cast of villains. Since the Prime Cuts series is so heavily reliant on the actual video games themselves, it made sense to toss these characters on the covers.

But I wanted to take it a step further and borrow an idea I’ve seen done in the past where a character appears to have taken over someone’s title. Thus, this was born.

This isn’t the actual incentive cover for #4, it’s a preliminary mock to test out the concept. Which cover will Ferril appear on? And which other popular Rayne villains will get their own covers? Stay tuned.
