Mike Imboden talks Fist of Justice and The Living Corpse!
We spoke with writer, Mike Imboden, about Fist of Justice and The Living Corpse.

Can you give us a synopsis of Fist of Justice?

Fist of Justice is a super hero that was around in the 70’s. For reasons that are explained in the book, he has been out of commission for 30 years. He forgot who he was etc. The story is about him trying to regain his place as the super hero he once was.

Who is the supporting cast in the book?

We are still developing that. Right now he has his best friend, who was also a crime-fighter in the with him in the 1970’s, his name is Harlan. His code name is Black Light. That is sort of a play on the whole 1970’s Black Goliath, Black Panther. He is Black Light because his power is light based.

There are also a few doctors that help Fist of Justice out. We are also still developing others.

How many issues have their been so far?

There have been seven issues in Digital Webbing Presents. Issue one of his own series is out now, issue two will be out in early May.

Issue 3 guest stars The Living Corpse. Is this crossover set in the same universe or is it a different realm?

Well originally, it was meant to be a War of the Independents tie in. It is still loosely into that. Fist is doing a public appearance somewhere and some zombies show up. Of course it is The Living Corpse’ job to stop those zombies so they cross paths.

In a typical super hero team up, they fight at first and then team up to fight hordes of the undead.

Is this crossover just one issue or will it span over several?

It is set for one issue. I was talking to Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson and they were saying they would like to do an issue of The Living Corpse and have Fist of Justice appear in it. It could be a follow up story or have the same story from the Living Corpse’ point of view.
