Publishing comics is great. Wanna know why? Because every so often you can go crazy and go in a totally different direction. For example; Fist of Justice #2 was originally solicited with a Captain America homage cover. The cover was just too kick-ass for words. But, once Anthony found out we were introducing a female version of FOJ, he whipped this together.

And now with the economy the way it is, printing prices are on the rise, even variant covers. Our order totals for Fist of Justice #2 were a little less than we’d like them to be so we opted to just stick with one cover. The clear winner is the one over on the right because it reflects the story more than the homage one (which originally was slated as a variant for #1).

Hang on, this part will make Mickey Imby happy… the homage cover will be reserved for the FOJ trade paperback collection at some point in time. But first we need to unload all these single issue copies we have.
Fist of Justice #2 should hit comic shops on June 11th. Grab one because it’s gonna be rare!
