Abigail & Rox Video Game?
Digital Webbing | Abigail & Rox 1 Comment »From Joshua Gamon, creator of Abigail & Rox:
To coincide with the release of the upcoming miniseries ABIGAIL & ROX IN THE COURTSHIP OF ABIGAIL FELLOWS, I’m developing an A&R role playing game for the PC. It’ll be a 16-bit, turned-base RPG– visually similar to Final Fantasy II and III from the Super Nintendo era. Plus, more importantly it’ll be available for free. It’ll feature important scenes from the upcoming story, as well as extra content not found in the comics. Abigail and Rox will be playable characters, as well as Manchester Rabbit and Ace from Wonderland, among others!
Why a video game? Well, some people send out postcards to promote their books, others advertise. That’s just tradition. But I wanted to do something different. I wanted to make a video game to promote the upcoming miniseries. But I’m not going to lie, it’s an extremely difficult process to learn the program and develop it as I go. I am doing it all, myself, but I don’t mind. It’s all for the fans. However, I do not have a release date set for the game, but expect it around the end of summer.
