Here’s an unused version of a DWP cover featuring Fist of Justice. Our buddy Ryan Scott is a master of Photoshop filters (as you may remember since he colored the stories in DWP #29 and #30).

Ultimately, we choose not to use this as our final cover for various reasons, but thought you’d get a kick out of seeing what could have been.

And who knows, in like 50 years, there might actually be a copy that looks identical to this floating around in the back-issue market. Heh.

Here’s a teaser from Fist of Justice #2 and I’ll leave it at that.

MAC just sent me a cover image that rocks pretty hard so issue 2 will ship with two covers, a 50/50 split. We’ll show you a peek at that shortly, but until then, you got this!

Look for Fist of Justice #2 at your local comic shop this May.

Guest-starring “The Living Corpse”!

Here’s an update on Fist of Justice #2 –
Original artist Eduardo Garcia had to bow out due to some other opportunities. So our buddy Scribbly (Eduardo Savid — what are the chances of one Eduardo exiting and another replacing him?! What a trip) steps in to bail us out. We also persuaded Ric Milk to lend a helping hand. What? Two different artists? Trust us, it works perfectly for this story.

Also on board to help with their inking skills are Austin Janowsky and Stacie Ponder. Coloring is by Mickey Clausen and Juanmar.

Due to this unfortunate event, FOJ #2 will not make it out this month like scheduled, look for it in May instead. Some great news, Scribbly is currently working on FOJ #3 and will be illustrating the whole issue. And we hope he enjoys it enough where he will remain the regular FOJ artist for all future issues. Stay tuned!

Check out the inked cover art for the third issue of Fist of Justice! This is a War of the Independents crossover guest starring Ken and Buzz’s The Living Corpse. Ken is no stranger to the Digital Webbing family as his Eyes of Asia mini-series was published under the Digital Webbing imprint a few years back.

Look for Fist of Justice #3 with a cover by the amazing Anthony Castrillo and colored by marvelous Mickey Clausen to hit comic shops this August. Written by Fist of Justice co-creator Mike Imboden and illustrated by hot, new talent Eduardo Savid.

  Mike Imboden posted these photos of the Fist of Justice Shockini revealed at the ToyFair ‘08 tradeshow. Fist of Justice is part of the Indie Spotlight Series 2 by Shocker Toys. Shockinis are the tough little 3” block figures mirroring the characters. The 3” Comic Book block figures will be available in 2 character packs. It’s unknown at present which other character FOJ will be shipped with.
