Scott Clark is chipping away at the pages for Ayano #1. We’re hoping to release this immediately following the conclusion of BloodRayne Tokyo Rogue.

Troy Wall and I are already planning the next issue, which will please Rayne fans considering it’ll be a crossover with the red-headed Dhampir. Hey, you knew we had to do it since we love our Rayne fans. Now all I gottta do is convince Troy it should be an Ayano and Rayne versus thousands and thousands of zombie ninjas. Now that would rock. If you agree, lets see if we can sway him.

Ayano first appears in BloodRayne Tokyo Rogue #1 in stores in around mid-May. Grab yourself a copy, you won’t regret it.

A string of brutal murders take place with no witnesses, no motives, and no trace left behind. It sounds like the perfect crime but sometimes the truth is harder to believe. For the past 25 years, a secret government agency known as Team 14 has been investigating the paranormal. Using experimental technology, they’ve been able to identify supernatural beings and in some cases even capture them. Now there are more paranormal crimes than ever, but this time they are using the ghosts’ own powers against them.

Prime Cuts #1 hits on February 27th with #2 already at the printer. So Prime Cuts #3 will be here in no time. We’re targeting an August release and have already begun work on Prime Cuts #4 (with the return of Steve Scott, artist from BloodRayne Twin Blades, working on a short story to match his cover).

Here’s a peek at a great, new BloodRayne artist who we hope to keep around for a long while. If not on BloodRayne, definitely something new we have planned by year’s end. Oscar Bazaldua is sure to build a huge following as more of his work is seen by comic book fans.

Here’s a page from BloodRayne: Tokyo Rogue #1. Written by regular BloodRayne storyteller Troy Wall, penciled by newcomer Jake Bilbao (who also did two stories in the upcoming Prime Cuts #1 and #2), inked by our buddy John Waki, and colored by groovy Joel Seguin.

This issue will definitely please Rayne fans looking for action. The whole issue is a enormous fight scene. Oh yeah, we also slip in Ayano, a character who plays a major role in this mini-series.

As mentioned in the BloodRayne forum, there’s going to be a RAW III. Packed with the usual cool stuff the past RAW book had — such as sneak peeks at the upcoming mini-series — Tokyo Rogue, Old World Order, Ayano, and maybe even Zero Dawn. Plus some goodies from Prime Cuts.

We’re hoping to have a couple short stories in there as well. Who knows what’ll end up in there. But we know for certain, you don’t want to miss it.

Here’s a peek at the wraparound cover for E-Man’s third issue from Digital Webbing Press. Y’know, these E-Man comics are like mini-movies, a new one every year. Joe, Nick, Randy, Matt and myself pour our heart and soul into these adventures so it’s no wonder we need a little breather between issues.

Look for E-Man: Idol in early summer ‘08. It’s an extra-length tale that’s worth the wait! Stay tuned for more details right here on this blog.

Here’s a peek at the incentive cover for BloodRayne: Tokyo Rogue #1 (AKA BloodRayne #14). This new mini-series starts in April so hang onto your pants, you’re going for a thrill ride in Japan.

Several new, important characters will be introduced in this story arc. Writer Troy Wall has some crazy plans for the next story arc after this, so you’ll need to check this out to be teased about it. We’ll see if we can get Troy to answer a couple questions here and there after the holidays.
